Louis I. Kahn Houses: 1940-1974 Travel as a food and physicThis volume was first published in 2003. It is surely the best collection of Kahn houses, and, as such, is indispensable. Twenty houses are featured, including the famous Esherick and Fisher. They are photographed for their light, for their texture, for their detail, for their particular brilliance. Also, a lovely recollection from Norman Fisher, working with his architect: Mr. Kahn worked late and our coming to meet him at 10 PM presented no problem
