The surface exhibits a smooth, natural luster with a soft reflective quality and subtle translucence. Formed within a volcanic cavity in the Deccan Traps, this piece represents stable silica deposition that allowed for the development of thick, rounded botryoidal forms. Natural surface variation typical of botryoidal chalcedony growth.
